Developing Climate Resilient Livelihoods in the Vulnerable Watershed in Nepal (DCRL) had signed a Letter of Agreement (LoA) with Basin Management Center (BMC)-Koshi, Soil and Watershed Management Office (SWMO)-Okhaldhunga, Division Forests Office (DFO)-Khotang, and Division Forests Office (DFO)-Okhaldhunga in February 2022 to support in the implementation of the project activities in eight projects working rural/municipalities of Khotang and Okhaldhunga districts.
The scope of the LOA covers overall planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and documentation of the activities related to water stress management, conservation farming, capacity building of community people, cultivation of drought-resistant Non-Timber Forests Products (NTFPs), strengthening Natural Resource Management (NRM) groups, and support in revision of NRM groups operational plan.

The Director-General (DG) of the Department of Forests and Soil Conservation (DoFSC)/National Project Director (NPD) of DCRL and head of the respective agencies as well as the National Project Manager-DCRL, and the Deputy Director-General (DDG) of DoFSC, signed an agreement with the agencies. The above-mentioned LOA with four government institutions is valid until December 2022.
