| Introduction :Procurement Notice text The scope of the assignment involves reviewing project documents, assessing conservation farming practices, and consulting with local governments, beneficiary farmers, and project stakeholders. The consultant will prepare a detailed implementation plan, focusing on efficient execution and prioritizing women, Dalits, and vulnerable groups. The implementation includes land preparation, seedling management, transportation, and monitoring. Post-implementation, field visits will assess seedling survival, and a detailed report, supported by evidence, will be submitted to the project office, incorporating feedback for potential improvements. The purpose is to provide technical support for implementing conservation farming in 492 hectares of agricultural land in Okhaldhunga and Khotang districts. Specific objectives include: i. Execute conservation farming and agro-forestry practices in 492 ha in Okhaldhunga and Khotang districts. ii. Monitor and assess survival rate in representative sites mutually agreed with the project after one month of plantation/cultivation. iii. Prepare sustainability plan of the conservation farming and agro-forestry practices.
